The Old School House was built on the shore and has been substantially modified to convert it into a family house.

Each room of the cottage is heated by electric storage and / or convector heaters. There is also a coal burning stove in the sitting room.

The cottage has a fitted kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and a fridge freezer.

The village is not on the mains, the water comes from a spring.
